Chat and Chill’ sessions are for 11-16year olds in Rutland to get together in a relaxed environment to talk, read and get creative with volunteer-led crafts and other activities such as board gaming and adult colouring. Young people will also be able to take advantage of the libraries extensive comic and graphic novel collections. These sessions are run by Rutland Library Service.
The first session begins on Saturday 19th October, and thereafter will be every first Saturday of the month from 10.30am – 12.30pm at the recently refurbished Oakham Library, the sessions are drop-in style and free to attend. Teens do not need to be library members to come. FREE adult colouring materials and board gaming will be available at every session. There will be additional sessions during half-term breaks.

Sat 19th Oct: Colouring Café - mandalas and more! Use our adult colouring books and coloured pencil selection to relax and colour. Board Gaming. Graphic novels and comics.
Sat 2nd Nov: Creepy Cartoons! Inspired by Hallowe’en? Use our comic book blanks and materials to create your own cartoon character. Board Gaming. Adult Colouring.
Sat 7th Dec: Make Memory Jewellery. Bring in a few photos, we’ll reduce & colour copy them for you to insert into blank pendants and keyrings. Makes a great Xmas gift for mum, dad or a friend! (Please bring £1 for materials if doing this activity). Board Gaming. Adult Colouring.
