**This session/activity is currently running virtually. If you are intersted in joining one of our virtual sessions please contact the Aiming High Team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The group are meeting monthly and there are a variety of times and sessions available**
This is a support group for parents of children who have been diagnosed with autism or suspected of having or not yet diagnosed with autism, ASD, AS and asperger’s syndrome.
The group is relaxed and informal and can offer support to help parents through the challenging times that often come with an autism diagnosis.
The Aiming High team and a specialist autism inclusion officer will provide advice, offer support and sign post parents to further helpful information. Whatever situation you are in we will support you to make the best possible outcomes for you, your child and other members of your family.
The group meets at Jules House bimonthly, on the second Tuesday of the month from 7.00pm-8.30pm.
Aiming High also offer an Autism Resource Library, the catalogue is attached. The idea is for parents/carers to borrow equipment to see if it helps your child or young person and then either return the item or replace it.
We have some specific themes coming up, the session will be an hour on the theme and then an hour as a general chat for parents/carers with the staff and other parent/carers;
October - General Catch up and Support
November - Diet and Sleep
December - General Catch up and Support
*These dates and themes are dependent on Covid-19 regulations*
