Young People with Disabilities at the Y

Are you aged 16-18 with a disability?

The service is free for young people with any disability including:

  • Physical or sensory disability
  • Learning disability or difficulty
  • Asperger’s Syndrome or Autism

We can help you with:

  • Shopping
  • Cooking and meal planning
  • Managing money
  • Cleaning and laundry
  • Personal care
  • Travel training
  • Socialising
  • Keeping Safe
  • Routines

We provide a safe place to:

  • Practise daily living skills that you can use at home or in the community
  • Help you with your confidence and self-esteem
  • Become more independent
  • Have more choice and control in your life
  • Think about your goals and what is important to you
  • Plan for your future
  • You can also try out an overnight stay!

Flat 108 is a safe place in the heart of Leicester City Centre where you can get some extra support to be more independent.  Our experienced Transitions Team offer one to one support or group settings to suit your needs
