Parenting Group: Supporting your Anxious Child (CFF)

This is the parallel parenting group to Overcoming Anxiety.

The programme aims to increase parents' and carers' knowledge, understanding and skills in managing their young person’s anxiety.  It looks at what may be influencing the young person’s behaviour, how behaviour patterns can be learned, the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviour and practical parenting strategies to enable you to support your young person to overcome their anxiety and avoidance behaviours.

Groups run for 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.

Any parent, grandparent or carer of a teenager aged 11 to 18 years old can book a place on the programme.
