Families Rutland Information Service

CAMHS Learning Disability Service

The service works with children and young people up to the age of 18 years who have a moderate to profound Learning Disability (as defi ned in ICD 10)
presenting with mental health and or associated behavioural problems.

We also assess for ASD and ADHD and undertake assessment and input regarding sleep diffi culties.

Patients are seen in our outpatient service where they are allocated a clinician to work with parents and the child to understand and manage their
difficulties more effectively.

If required, further intense input can be provided through our outreach service within the family home.

The outreach service will also respond to crisis situations to provide input where required for cases already open to the service.
