If you are reading this but do not currently receive any information from us through the post, such as the brilliant Newsletter, then you may have missed the tick box on the original Crohn's & Colitis UK membership form.
Everything we do at the Leicestershire & Rutland group is all included with your Crohn's & Colitis UK national membership at no extra cost. If you wish to be included on the mailing list then please contact Crohn's & Colitis UK head office (email@example.com) and ask them to add local membership to your Crohn's & Colitis UK account.
We hope to see you soon at a local meeting or fundraising event soon.
Follow us on Facebook
We have set up a Facebook page for our local group. This will be a great way to keep our members and their family and friends up to date with what is going on in the world IBD and the Leicestershire and Rutland group.
To access the page you do need to be a member of Facebook. It is a free social networking site and is a great way of keeping up with your friends. To create an account go to www.Facebook.com and follow the instructions.
If you already have an account or have just set one up then use the search bar at the top of your Facebook.com screen to search for our group or click this link:Leicestershire and Rutland Crohns and Colitis UK. Our group page should now pop up in front of you. If you want to be kept up to date with what's going on then you must click the big "Like" button; this way whenever we post a new status, it will pop up on your timeline.
Obviously all the information you require will remain here on this website and in your Newsletter but Facebook gives us a wider audience. It allows people who maybe forget about our website to be kept up to date without having to stray from one of their regular social networking sites.
