Shared Ownership Housing (part of Help to Buy)

Further information on applying for some schemes to assist with home purchase is at Help to Buy Midlands (home page), including details on how shared ownership works.  Shared ownership can help some people to buy equity in a suitable property who may not have been able to buy otherwise.  It does not involve sharing your property with another household.

Shared ownership is one of the schemes offered by the Government under the Help to Buy programme and is affordable housing.  (This service does not cover those products within the broader Help to Buy programme that are not officially classed as affordable housing, but information on these can be obtained from the Help to Buy Midlands website above.)
