There are about 600 people in Rutland who have been diagnosed with dementia and it is though that the numbers will rise to 1000 people by 2025. Dementia friendly walks are brilliant for people with demntia as well as there carers.
The Lincolnshire and Rutland Local Access Forums have been givien funding to train people to lead dementia friendly walks across the county. We are looking for volunteers to help us lead these walks.
