We operate an extensive transport scheme for frail elderly, disabled and vulnerable people in Rutland who have difficulty in travelling independently around the area covered by the Social Car Scheme.
This is a door-to-door service where volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to pick up clients and return them to their homes.
The driver will wait for a reasonable time until the visit or appointment is over. Clients who travel with our transport scheme are expected to contribute toward the cost of their journey according to a set tariff.
