UPPINGHAM MINI SOCCER COURSES FOR 4 TO 12 YEAR OLDS:
Our football programme for girls and boys aged between 4 and 12 years is suitable for the first experiences of the game as well as youngsters wishing to advance their skills. This is a real opportunity for youngsters to get involved in sport and to make new friends too. The sessions are led by John Mulholland, (a fully qualified UEFA B coach and fully DBS checked with public liability insurance). The programme is based on fun and enjoyment. Mini Soccer teaches the basic techniques of the game through fun games in a friendly and safe environment. The mini soccer course lasts for ten 1 hour sessions and costs £50. The sessions are on Saturdays at Uppingham Community College’s new 3G astroturf. In bad weather we also have use of the school’s indoor sports hall.

TIMES FOR SATURDAY MINI SOCCER:
There are three age groups for mini soccer:

a) Ages 4 to 5 (9.00am to 10.00am)
b) Ages 6 to 7 (10.00 am to 11.00am)
c) Ages 8 to 9 (11.00am to 12.00noon)

d) Ages 10 to 12 (11am to 12noon)

KIT NEEDED:
Most of our sessions take place outdoors on 3G AstroTurf. We only go indoors if very cold and/ or wet. So players need the following: Rain jacket, shin pads, trainers (studded boots not needed but can be worn on the astro pitch- not indoors), re-fillable water bottle, warm clothing- shorts, tracksuit bottoms, hat, gloves, jumper in winter.
