Lamp is operating a telephone service during the current public health crisis. Please call our Mental Health Advocates on: 0116 255 6286. If our lines are busy do leave a message. We will call you back as soon as possible.
During self isolation we can share Daily Well-being tips and advice to promote good mental health. This includes signposting to Covid19 specific information, and local council’s Help Hubs. We also support carers across the county and are currently running weekly Zoom carers groups through video link. We are happy to take new referrals from service users and their Carers.**
Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project (LAMP)
Lamp is an independent voluntary organisation providing advocacy to people with mental health issues and their carers living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We provide information and support, as well as organise and attend community events, to help challenge stigma, increase awareness and help those whose lives are affected by mental health. With over 27 years behind us, Lamp has become an integral part of the mental healthcare community in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Lamp can also offer an additional physical health advocacy service to clients who are experiencing a mental well-being issue. This additional service strives to provide a holistic approach, supporting those who experience mental well-being issues and feel that an existing mental health condition may form a barrier or impinge, at times, on the their ability to address physical health problems.
