The Hope Project

The Hope Project is a multi-agency project aiming to support those experiencing or at risk of domestic violence who have a housing requirement and additional needs. We are a collaboration of specialist teams operating in the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland area. To confirm your eligibility or request further information, please call us.

The Hope Project is brought together in partnership with women’s services providers, Panahghar, Women’s Aid Leicestershire Ltd, Turning Point and city and county councils within Leicester and Leicestershire. It aims to reduce repeat homelessness by providing responsive support to those in need. The clients much reach the following criteria to eligible for Hope project support:

  • Housing Need (NFA, risk of homelessness, unsuitable or unsafe housing)
  • Domestic abuse (at current risk of or currently experiencing)

And at least one of the following:

  • Substance misuse issues
  • Mental health issues
  • Female genital mutilation
  • Honour based violence
  • Forced marriage
  • No recourse to public funds

The Hope Project is able to support both men and women in the community. Women can also be considered for refuge accommodation where this is required.
