Set a Course for Rutland Water

Rutland Sailing Club is a fully accessible venue. “Set a Course” sessions are inclusive and accessible small group sessions. You need have no previous sailing experience. Over the two weeks we aim to give you with the basic skills to sail a small two-person craft and to pilot a small motor launch to provide you with an introduction into an exciting and rewarding world. 

 All sessions will be led by highly experienced professional instructors from Rutland Sailing School, trained and approved by the Royal Yachting Association. Each session will be preceded by a thorough briefing. All safety equipment is provided.

 Please note, if the weather is deemed unsuitable for activity on the water, other activities will be laid on.
