Families Rutland Information Service

Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO)

This is a group for children and young people who are looked after from age 9 and above.

At SUSO, you can give your views and opinions to the people making decisions about what life in care in really like.

You can also go to meetings to tell others about what it’s like to be a young person living in foster care, if you would like to.

We meet twice a month.  1 meeting is online where we discuss what you would like social care to know and the other meeting is a fun activity of the groups choosing.

The group is newly relaunched and we are constantly asking the young people how to improve the group to enable changes for others in care.
