North Midlands LGBT Older Peoples Group

Welcome to North Midlands LGBT Older Peoples Group

We are a friendly group of local older LGBT+ people who support each other through regular meetings and social activities. Most of our physical meetings currently take place in or around Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. We also have weekly online social meetings on Zoom.  We have group members in Staffordshire, Shropshire and nearby surrounding areas.

Our group is run by its members. We do not have any premises and we do not employ staff.  The group is based around peer support and self help. We support each other and get help to support ourselves.

Group members are diverse in their age and interests. We are an inclusive group that welcomes all LGBTQ+ people. We do not make assumptions about the reasons that people identify with our community and we do not ask you state your sexual orientation or gender when you join our group.

Combatting Isolation and Loneliness for Older LGBTQ+ People

Our social meetings and activities help reduce isolation and loneliness for older LGBTQ+ people. We provide opportunities to make new friends and to expand your social network.  We also offer health information and workshops to learn new skills.

Please take a look at our web pages to read about some of the things that we do. If you would like to join our mailing list or find out more, please contact us.
