Casterton Nursery is situated in the grounds of Casterton College Rutland, and for over twenty years has provided high quality childcare and education for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. We also offer care for school aged children (5-11 years) in our Holiday Club.

Being part of the College gives us unlimited access to all their amazing facilities, so Autumn walks on the field and the use of the Sports Hall for more physical sessions are always very welcomed.

At Casterton Nursery we understand that choosing childcare for your child can be very difficult. However, we are fully dedicated to providing your child with the highest possible care and education. We aim for them to leave us as sociable, independent and confident children who have a love for learning.

We are extremely motivated about the care and education we provide at Casterton. We believe children are innately curious and this is a great way for children to learn and develop. Our rooms have a real homely atmosphere, with access to a range of real authentic resources. The rooms also have a very natural feel, giving the children access to real natural materials. These open ended objects allow children to experience different weights and textures, studying the world around them.

We open from 7.30 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. 51 weeks of the year, closing over the Christmas period and all bank holidays. We also offer term time only places to all children, subject to terms and conditions, and a flexible hourly rate, so parents can choose hours that are convenient for them.
