Rutland Carers' Support Group (Age UK)

Covid-19 statement

In the light of government advice on social distancing and the developing situation we have taken the decision to close most Age UK Day Centres and services until further notice. We will of course be keeping a close eye on government advice and guidance and will respond in line with this.

In the meantime a helpline has been launched, offering practical and emotional support to those over 70 in Leicester and Leicestershire, especially those who are self isolating and live alone.

To contact the helpline, call 0116 299 2239

This group is suitable for anyone who cares for someone with a long-term debilitating illness e.g. M.S., dementia, stroke, etc.  A packed programme of speakers and activities is offered to cater to all tastes, including an afternnon tea trip out.
