Kids Learn to Play is run by Dee & Karen based in the lovely Rutland village of Ryhall on the outskirts of Stamford. In 2017 we received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted.
In our setting our aim is to provide every child in our care with fun, imaginative and educational experiences, that are structured around interactive learning.
Our setting has a purpose built playroom and conservatory along with the whole of the ground floor to play in, with open access to the garden.
We enjoy daily outings such as; visiting local playgroups, parks, soft play, woods and Ferry Meadows but to name a few. We hold season tickets to Burghley, Sacrewell Farm and Rutland Water.
We have a child lead curriculum which includes trips to the library for private sessions of stories and rhymes, They Yard and Oakham soft play centres and we have our own allotment space where the children are hands on growing their own fruits and veggies! We are also active memebers of the Stamford Childminding Group and meet throughout the week where children are exposed to themed activities e.g. Spanish and excercise classes. Meeting up gives them opportunities to celebrate birthdays, Christmas, Easter and sports days, along with making a wider circle of friends.
We offer early years from birth through to 'afterschoolies' and offer a pickup service from Ryhall CE, Malcolm Sargent and St. Gilberts school.
We can offer a flexible service out of our core Monday to Thurday 7.30am - 6.30pm so please contact us to see how we can help you.
