Grants Available for Local Community Projects

If you have an idea for a project that could improve people's health and wellbeing, help people to be independent or support those with a long term health condition, you can apply for a Healthy Rutland Grant from Rutland County Council.

Some example projects:

  • Gardening and Green Projects
  • New Community Clubs
  • Good Neighbour Schemes
  • Healthy Eating Projects
  • Lunch Clubs
  • Inclusive Activities - walking football, buggy runs, chair exercise etc.

The grant scheme panel expects that most applications will be for under £1000.

You can download the leafletguidance notes and application form here.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 29th March 2019.

Before you submit an application, call or email Claire Thomas on 01572 725 805.

The Healthy Rutland Grant Scheme is funded by a Public Health Grant and the Better Care Fund.
